Webdev Tools by Amityweb · Last updated June 2026
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Alongside cookies, we also use your browser's local storage to remember preferences. We keep this to a minimum — Webdev Tools uses only what's needed to work and to remember your settings. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| webdevtools_session | Cookie (necessary) | Maintains your secure session while you use the site. | Session / 2 hours |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Cookie (necessary) | Security token that protects forms against cross-site request forgery. | Session / 2 hours |
| darkMode | Local storage | Remembers whether you prefer light or dark theme. | Until cleared |
| cookie_consent | Local storage | Remembers your response to the cookie notice so we don't ask again. | Until cleared |
| cf_* (Turnstile) | Cookie (third-party) | Set by Cloudflare Turnstile only on forms that use it, to tell humans from bots. | Short-lived |
The session and security cookies are strictly necessary for the site to function, so they cannot be switched off, but they contain no personal profile. The dark-mode and consent values live in your browser's local storage and never leave your device. You can clear all of these at any time through your browser settings.
For how we handle the rest of your information, see our Privacy Policy. Webdev Tools is operated by Amityweb — get in touch with any questions.
